This is a NEW Surplus 1.5” Military 99% blocked at 850nm Infrared Filter 1/4” thick. Some have scuffs, scratches, from processing and handling. This will not affect the I R output on a Flashlight. It is used to provide invisable very covert I R light for all I to III generation Night Vision Equipment. This Flashlight filter is a MUST HAVE for all the 1st generation gear sold today for dark night viewing. The 1st gen. Gear requires more ambient light. With this Infrared Flashlight filter, you can attach it over your light source ( G I flashlight, maglite, coon hunting lights, flashlights etc.). This will enable you to enter an area of total darkness and see with your NVD’s. Not recommended for LED lights. They do not produce Infrared light band. This Flashlightlight filter is the best you can buy, it is a plastic material to withstand high heat lights to about 350 dregees and will not break if dropped like glass.
