From up-close-and-personal to medium long-range shooting, you'll be able to get your cross hairs on target quickly every time. The 1.5-6x magnification gives you a very wide field at the lower power settings, while dialing up to 6x magnifies smaller or more distant targets significantly. Twilight performance increases substantially at the lower end, while the respectable 42mm objective lens enhances light throughput significantly without bringing excessive weight and size into the equation.   This scope is an excellent choice for twilight hunters looking for one optic that can do-it-all. Its moderate profile and robust construction are ideal for hunting in wooded areas, mountainous regions, and stalking game through dense brush. The wide field of view at minimum magnification will give you that up-close-and personal shot with ease. Swarovski Habicht PH (Professional Hunter) riflescopes feature lightweight 30mm main-tubes, metric precision adjustments, Swarotop and Swarodur anti-reflective lens coatings for maximum light transmission/color rendition, reticles positioned in the first focal plane, and a telescopic recoil-dampened eye cup.
• Swarovski Mounting Rail
The innovative SR (Swarovski Rail) mounting rail system is available on select offerings within the Swarovski riflescope family. The integral fine-toothed rail prevents any movement of the riflescope, regardless of the caliber or recoil of your firearm. Two finely crafted mounting bases with matching teeth engage the rail on the underside of the riflescope for a stable, repeatable and dependable mounting solution. By eliminating the need for traditional mounting rings, the SR system eliminates unsightly & devastating gouge marks on your riflescope's main tube.
In order to mount a Swarovski riflescope with an SR rail, you will need to purchase and install a slotted Weaver type rail or bases to your receiver. In addition, a pair of Swarovski Cross Slot Mount Bases must be employed in order to fit the scope to the firearm. This is a precision mounting system and as such it is recommended that a qualified gunsmith install the mounting bases to your receiver for a proper fit and perfect alignment with the axis of your bore.

• 4A Reticle in the First Focal Plane
The 4A reticle is similar to a traditional German #4. Three medium weight posts at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock draw your eye to the center and stand out well against dark heavy cover. In the middle of your sight picture fine cross hairs intersect to indicate your exact point of aim. Second focal plane positioning of the reticle maintains its size throughout the zoom range.
This scope has the reticle positioned in the 1st focal plane. This maintains the subtension of the reticle throughout the magnification range.
