Swiss Army Watch Band Raider Black PVD Steel 19mm

This is the Swiss Army watchband for the Swiss Army Raider Watch.  This band is 19mm at point of attachment with a curved attaching end cap. It is a "black steel" bracelet with a foldover logo safety buckle. It is a black PVD coating that is superior to previously used coatings in the watch industry.

What is PVD coating?
Physical Vapor Deposition, or PVD, is a term used to describe a family of thin-film coating processes which are applied under vacuum conditions. These processes involve the generation of positively charged ions of various metals. These metal ions react with gas ions that are introduced into the chamber in order to create various compositions. The parts to be coated are given a negative bias in order to attract the positively charged ions. The result is a very strong and superior mechanical bond between the coating and the bracelet.
