This auction is for a beautiful platter made by Syracuse China.  This is a prime example of "restaurant china", and by date code was made in May of 1976. 

This platter took my eye because of it's unusual shape, gold edging and logo, "The Empress".

It is in excellent condition.  No chips, cracks or crazing.  Utensil marks appropriate for use and age.  The Platter measures 11 1/2 in. by 10 1/8 in. 

I love dishes, especially old ones!  But, we are downsizing, and I have to part with many of them.  This has been one of my favorites.
