FEATURE

Operation method:

1. Inspects and Starting up

Please inspects the infra-red lamp body, the temperature sensor and the power line first whether connects good befor you starting up. Turns on the power switch. Use if after pass the self-checking (the panel display shows the setting value which useed last time. The front panel has two switches, controls the preheating chassis, the infra-red lamp body work separately; Presses the front panel “IR  PRE-HEAT  PIATE”’ “▲”“▼”;,the range between 60-200; in, the adjustment preheating chassis preheating temperature, presses the switch is “ON”;, then the preheating chassis starts to work, presses the switch is “OFF”;, then preheating chassis knock off; Presses the front panel IR  HEAT  LAMP”’” “▲”“▼”; can adjusts the infra-red lamp body the operating temperature between200-350 , presses the switch is “ON”;, then the infra-red lamp body starts to work, presses the switch is “OFF”;,then infra-red lamp body knock off.

2. Sealing off /repair operation

Pleacement of the PCB board

Make the select PCB board aim to the rabbet on the splint and put on the PCB board braket, fasten the handwheel of the PCB boar splint and fasten the PCB board. Move the splint sliding guide from right to left in order to choose the suitable position.

Before sealing off/repair

adjustment and preparatory work befor unsolder/repair operation

Adjusts the position of PCB board, make the center of the chip which needs unsolder/repair aim to the facula center of the infrated lamp body. Adjust the height of the lamp and the height of 20-30mm is suitable distance between the lamp tap and the unsolder object

Lays aside the infra-red lamp the temperature sensor nearby the chip on the suitable position, all around spreads the welding flux in the chip with sensor (to weld treasure or burnt oil), does this may cause the sensor to measure the temperature is more accurate, simultaneously is helpful the solder to help welds the function, BGA welds the plate to be able to be completer, can prevent effectively welds the plate to stick and questions and so on tin wool.

When the chip has spreads the waterproof solid sealing compound, it certainly must be first open the preheating chassis melt rubber, after lets rubber being heated soften or the pulverization, cleans up first; Also available sol hydrosol and so on .

measures.According to sol temperature which the factory provides, carries on sol processing, the melt rubber temperature is not suitable excessively high, generally for 120-140 the suitable preheat interval is 3 - 5 minutes or longer.

Sealing off/repair process

According to product technological requirement or PCB board size, adjustment preheating chassis preheating temperature( 60-200; adjustable), may open the preheating chassis in advance, one 3 - 5 minutes, the preheating chassis can stabilize in the temperature range which supposes in advance

According to the chip size and the welding technological requirement, it selects the suitable infrared lamp and the adjustable heating temperature is  (200-350), and it can satisfy the sealing off/repair technological requirement then.

The common experience is: According to the repair chip size,it can adjust ouput temperature of the infra-red lamp suitably the output temperature about 220-240; (adjustable) and chassis preheating temperature (60-200C; adjustable);When the sealing off/repair is smaller than the 20x20mm chip, it may adjust the infra-red lamp temperature to 220-240C; about, if the chip has not spread the waterproof solid sealing compound, or the PCB board is small it cannot distort, but it does not operate the preheating chassis preheating; Otherwise the first preheating degree between120-140 is suitable; According to the craft and the user experience, when 30x30mm chip opens in a big way, it may adjust the infra-red lamp 240-260; about, preheating chassis 140-200C;, first preheating 3 - 5 minutes, after the chassis is supposing stablly in advance the temperature, may complete the sealing off/repair process very conveniently; This time the infrared light is the strongest, the chip temperature elevates quickly and pays attention to the control specially, prevented the sensor displacement, the temperature measurement does not permit,the time of the chip being heated is long, the elevation of temperature is too high, and it is bad for the chip.

The disassemble operating process is generally: The fixed PCB board, adjusts the PCB board the position, adjusts the chip which the infra-red lamp the heartfelt alignment disassembles, adjusts the infra-red lamp, lays aside the infra-red lamp highly the temperature sensor, spreads the welding flux, the hypothesis preheating chassis preheating temperature and the infra-red lamp operating temperature, the opening preheating chassis, after 3-5 minute or a longer spot, preheating temperature control the nearby setting value, the opening infra-red lamp heating chip, achieved supposes the temperature or the chip tin plate in advance melts, takes down the chip after the real suction pen or the tweezers, closes the infra-red lamp and the pre-heating platen switch, and so on main engine full cooling, closes the power source.

In the sealing off/repair process matters needing attention and the correlation showed that,

When sealing off/repair quite big PCB board chip, for instance: The computer board must certainly carry on the fully imposite the preheating seasoning, may the technological requirement which support the factory carries on, it also may depend on the experience of the process; Only then processes appropriately, can prevent effectively when sealing off/repair chip, the PCB board distortion and produces from this faulty soldered joint, chip rake.

3.Maintenance and overhaul

Complete machine maintenance:    After the machine uses period of time, please to the focusing frame, the guide pillar, the PCB board support and so on . the slipper, regularly with fat cleaning, the maintenance lubricates and guards against rust the goal.Preheating chassis and infra-red lamp body maintenance: The preheating chassis and the infra-red lamp body, specially the infra-red lamp high insightful protection slide, regularly with dehydrated alcohol cleaning, the elimination welding flux condensate, maintains the infrared hot radiation unobstructed.Infra-red lamp replacement:    When replaces the infra-red lamp, with the special-purpose inside caliper gauge or the long mouth pliers, will fix the slide first the spring inside caliper, the slide, spring inside caliper one time takes down; Again takes down the fixed infra-red lamp the spring inside caliper, then with the bamboo slip or the wooden bat outside lamp chimney air vent place, goes against the infra-red lamp gently, draws out the lamp holder to replace the new infra-red lamp; Installs again according to the opposite order .

 
4.Suggestion:
About the components without plumbum, you should add 20-30℃.
About the PCB board with components on its both side, please set-up the pre-heat temperature lower, and then use the IR-Lamp to heat.
 
5. Cooling the machine
Turn off the switch of the pre-heat dish and the IR-lamp.
Once the machine is cooling enough, cut off the power cable.
 
6 Attention
①When you maintain some large chip of the PCB board such as the mother board of the computer, you must pre-heat and dry the whole board first, then you can avoid the transmuting of the PCB board and soldering joint and rake angle of the chip.
②All the plastic plug-in board must be covered with aluminium-foil paper, to avoid transmutation or destroying.
③The PCB board which had been maintained, after cooling, clean it, and do the test when it is dry. If it is not ok, re-soldering it.
④Around working, when the PCB board is not on the holder, please do not long time open the IR-lamp, do not shoot the light on the strong glisten objects. Otherwise it will reduce its using time.
⑤About the chips which is encapsulation simply, please pre-stick aluminium-foil paper on the centre of the chip, to avoid burning out the slice of silicon.
The measurement of the aluminium-foil paper had better a little larger than the slice of silicon, but not too large. Otherwise, it will do effect on the soldering.

Operation method 

1Starting and inspections before starting

    Before starting the machine, please inspect the infrared lamp bodytemperature sensor and power line and see if they are in good connection.

    Turns on the power switch, then use self-checking first. ( The previous setting value demonstrated on the keyboard display monitor after you turn on the machine).

    There are has two switches in the front panel . One controls the preheating chassis, the other controls the infra-red lamp body work; Presses the front panel “IR  PRE-HEAT  PLATE”; “▲”“▼”;, preheating temperature of preheating chassis ranges from 60-200; button “ON” and “OFF” are used to control preheating chassis to start and stop working. Presses the front panel “IR  HEAT  LAMP”; “▲”“▼”; temperature of infrared lamp body ranges from 100-350; button “ON” and “OFF” are used to control infrared lamp body to start and stop working.

2Unsoldering/repair operation

     How to place PCB

    Put PCB board on the corresponding notch in PCB support, and fasten the PCB handweel of board support, fix PCB board well. Then slide PCB support to select appropriate working position.

    Adjustment and preparatory work before unsoldering/repair operation

    Adjust the PCB board position, make the center of chip that need to be unsoldered/repaired aimed vertically at the facula center of infrared lamp body. Then adjust the height of infrared lamp body, the ideal height between lamp and the unsoldering/repair article is 20-30mm.

    Place the temperature sensor of infrared lamp in the suitable position nearby the chip. In order to measure a more accurate temperature, please spread welding flux around the chip as well as the head of the sensor. Welding flux also help BGA , simultaneously is helpful the solder to help welds the function, BGA welds the plate to be able to be completer, can prevent effectively welds the plate to stick and questions and so on tin wool.

    If there is waterproof solid sealing colloid around the chip, you must first start the preheating chassis to melt colloid. When colloid is heated to soften or pulverized, please make the chip clean first. You can also use other chemical liquids to melt colloid. The process of melting colloid needs to operate under the required temperature that the factory suggests. The temperature can’t be too high, generally ideal temperature should be 120-140; preheating time 3 - 5 minutes or longer.

    Unsoldering/repair operation

    According to the repaired articles’ technical requirement or PCB board size, adjust preheating temperature of preheating chassis between 60-200.      Usually before the repair/unsoldering operation, please turn on the preheating chassis 3 – 5 minutes ahead of time, the temperature of preheating chassis can be stabilized in the required range.

    According to the chip size and the welding technical requirement, selects the suitable heating temperature of infrared lamp between100-350 to meet the need of unsoldering/repair operation.

    Common experience: according to the repaired chip size, adjust the suitable output temperature between 100-350 of the infra-red lamp; and chassis preheating temperature between 60-200.

    When you unsolder and repair the chips which are smaller than the 20x20mm, you adjust the infrared lamp’s temperature to 280-320. If the chip has not the waterproof solid sealing colloid around it, or the PCB board is small and difficult to be distorted by temperature, you need not let the preheating chassis work before unsoldering/repair operation. But if it is not the case, please first turn on the preheating chassis, the suitable temperature is between120-140.

     When unsoldering the chips which are bigger than 30x30mm, according to the craft and the user’s experience, you adjust the infrared lamp’s temperature at 320-350 and preheating chassis at 140-200.

    When the temperature of preheating chassis are stabilized in the required range, you can do your unsoldering/repair process very easily and conveniently.  At that time, the infrared light is the strongest, the chip’s temperature is risen quickly, you need pay attention to prevent the sensor ‘s displacement, because if the temperature measurement is not accurate; the chip is heated for too long time; the temperature is too high, the chip will be damaged.

    Unsoldering operation:  Firstly, you fix PCB board, make the center of the infrared lamp aim at the unsoldered chip. Secondly, adjust the height of infrared lamp, place the temperature sensor in the right place, spread welding flux.  Thirdly, set the preheating temperature of preheating chassis and the work temperature of infrared lamp, turn on the preheating chassis 3-5 minutes ahead of operation. Fourthly, when the temperature of preheating chassis stabilizes at the supposed temperature, please turn on the infrared lamp and wait the lamp to rise to the supposed work temperature. It is not until the tin on the pin is melt that you use vacuum tube or tweezers to take away the chip. Lastly, turn off the preheating chassis and infrared lamp. When main body of machine is cooled down, power off the machine.

    Soldering operation: Total process is nearly same as unsoldering one. Only differences are as followings: first clean up the welding plate and the tin ball, preheat the PCB board, put the chip in the accurate place, then solder the chip according to the required temperature, cool the chip lastly.

Attentions in the process of Unsoldering/repair

    When unsoldering/repair quite big PCB board chip such as computer board, the entire board should be preheated fully, you need to do unsoldering/repair according to the PCB factory’s requirement or your experience. Only by this way can you prevent the PCB board distortion and consequent empty soldering etc.

    In the process of unsoldering/repair, in the area that can be shined by the infra-red lamp, all the plastic plugs should be covered by the aluminum tin foil, to prevent temperature distortion. But it is just covered, not wrapped completely.

    Until the unsoldered/repaired PCB board was coolded, it should be cleaned and dried first, then test and see if it works.  

    Before operation, if you haven’t put PCB board on the table, you shouldn’t turn on the infrared lamp for too long time, which was able to reduce the service life of the lamp. You are forbidden to shine the strong counter-optical articles with the infra-red lamp for a long time, which can also affect seriously the service life of the lamp.

3Maintenance and overhaul

     Maintenance of entire machine:

    After the machine has been use for some time, you should spread some lubricates or grease on the focusing frame, the guide pillar, the PCB board support and so on regularly to keep them lubricate and prevent from rust.

    Maintenance of Preheating chassis and infrared lamp body:

    The preheating chassis and the infrared lamp body, specially the infra-red lamp that has high insightful protection glasses, should be regularly cleaned by dehydrated alcohol to get rid of the condensation of welding flux, which keeps the infrared hot radiation unobstructed.

    Replacement of Infrared lamp:

    When you replace the infrared lamp, please use calipers or with the special-purpose inside caliper gauge or pipe-pliers. Firstly, please take off the internal   springy calipers which use to fix the glasses and infrared lamp. Secondly, please use stick to go against the infra-red lamp gently. Lastly, draws out the lamp holder to replace the new infra-red lamp. Please remember to fix the protection glasses and infrared lamp well after installation.

Attentions

   1Don’t stop power supply immediately after the work finished. You need let the fan cool the lamp body fully, which can make the lamp’s service life longer.

   2Let the breathing place unobstructed and the lamp body clean. Uses the dehydrated alcohol clean lamp glasses regularly!

   3The guide pillar, the focusing support should be spread with lubrication regularly.

   4Be careful to security under high temperature.

   5Draw out the power supply plug if you don’t use it for long-time.
