TALL PAIR Antique English Oak Barley Twist Candlesticks (Q)

Direct from England, another lovely pair of antique English oak barley twist candlesticks.

This set is SOLID OAK, with ORIGINAL DARK, RICH FINISH, and VERY TALL in height, with thick beveled bases and large solid oak cups. This is an unusually LARGE and THICK pair, much more substantial than most, as the normal height is 10” or less and these are 13 ½”!!

These elegant candleholders add venerable English style to any décor and are the perfect accent piece throughout the year – changing the color of candles for every holiday, from red at Christmas, purple for Mardi Gras, green for St. Patrick’s Day, red for Valentines, pink for Easter, blue for July 4^th… and certainly two or three pair of varying heights in the center of any table makes quite a statement!

Measurements:

13 ½”H x 5 ¾” diameter.

All of my antiques are hand selected from premier European shippers. I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality.

Condition:

The candlesticks are in good condition, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. I always provide multiple photos and written information, and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to bidding. Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character.
