Tank Girl (1995), based on the British comic book, with McDowell as supermegavillain Kesslee.
PETTY, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1963, is an American actress of TV and the silver screen. She got her acting start in a 1987 episode of
The Equalizer and put in guest appearances on TV and starring roles in
Point Break (1991) and
A League of Their Own (1992) before getting the title role in 1995's
Tank Girl. This movie, an adaptation of a British comic book, was supposed to be Petty's breakout movie, but was a critical and box office disaster. However, she survived it, and has since shown up in a number of B movie thrillers as well as regular roles on
Lush Life (1996) and
Brimstone (1998-1999).
MCDOWELL, born Malcom John Taylor in Leeds, Yorkshire, England, is an English actor with
over 160 TV shows and movies as of this biography, but he's probably best known for his role as
sociopath-turned-guinea-pig Alex in A Clockwork Orange (1971). McDowell has a tendency to play charismatic - even charming - evil characters, including the title role in
Caligula (1979) and, more recently, occultist Vater Orlaag in
Metalocalypse, as well as playing the heavy in a number of B-movies. Some of his less diabolical characters include Nick Travis in
If... (1968) and H. G. Wells in
Time After Time (1979). He's also lent his voice to a number of TV cartoons in recent years.
Star Trek fans know McDowell as mad Dr. Tolian Soran, who killed Captain James T. Kirk in Star Trek: Generations (1994). Lightly scuffed and creased. Light impression from disc. Otherwise in fine condition.
