It works with 120 & 240 volts. If the calibration is more than 4 months old, we will re-calibrate the unit. We always re-check the item before we ship it. This is a simple to operate field maintenance tool for testing long runs of coax or twisted pair cables. TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) identifies and locates cable faults. The unit is connected to the cable and sends out an electrical pulse that is reflected back to the unit by a fault in the cable. Fault type is identified by the shape of the display. The display is an LCD where distance measurements may be determined using a cursor.

The LCD is clear clean and works fine.
