The TSG 1001 provides moving signals for testing complex image processing electronics such as bit rate reduction and motion compensation equipment

OVERVIEW

The Tektronix TSG1001 Programmable TV Generator is used with the SDP1000 Signal Development unit to provide a versatile system for definition and generation of commonly used and new television signals

Newly created signals can be quickly downloaded to the TSG1001 and output via analog and parallel digital outputs

The signals are generated either with an internal clock or with a user supplied clock

Downloaded signals are saved when the generator is off

The TSG1001s programmable zone plate generator provides complex patterns for advanced testing requirements fixed and swept frequency horizontal vertical diagonal and temporal patterns allow true multi dimensional testing





Condition Working: This Generator powers up and has all working buttons.It has two missing button covers The Multi Pulse and Multi Burst. It could not be interfaced for additional testing purposes.
