In our un-ending crusade for pure tone woods, we have stumbled upon an amazing and SHOCKING tone wood that we salvaged from an old mid 1800's local Pennsylvania Barn that was being torn down.  Overlooked long ago since solid body instruments did not exist yet, Hemlock ( related to conifers(tone woods) like Spruce, and Pine) through our tests here at Musikraft, we have discovered that this Hemlock, which we estimate to be between 300 to 400 years old,  has such incredible tight grain that yields such perfect tones - This wood is Electrically VIBRANT, powerful and responsive, crisp,  rich balanced with a full range of tones and frequency response like we have never experienced (Has a very balanced and even, full range frequency response from bass to treble in which the overtones are not any louder than the fundamental tones) Also this body carries such a great vibe purely because of its extreme age (as old or older than the average Stradovarious!), heritage and origin - it even has a few of the ancient nail marks in it!  You will be blown away by this very special wood! Do not miss out on this very rare and limited body!  Fits with standard vintage style hardware and 2-3/16" necks.  All holes are drilled.  For more on the story and additional pictures, please visit our website at Musikraft.com.  This particular body has a few hairline checks in the surface with two distint knots right at the bridge pickup and has been reduced in price to reflect these areas which will not affect the sound or playability/stability of the body.
