This auction is for a wonderful heavy woven cloak / garment worn in the wonderful epic film by CECIL B. DeMILLE'S 'THE TEN COMMANDMENTS' from 1956. They would also have been worn in movies such as ''THE GREATEST STORY EVER TOLD'.' 'BEN HUR' 'SPARTACUS' and many others of this genre.

This cloak is one of the many worn in the production and is done in a burgundy heavy woven material. I believe it is a cotton or cotton blend. The cloak has a tie at the neckline and a raw / uneven hem edge.

The Cloak is one size fits all. There is some fading on the back due to age and being hung under the lights.

'THE TEN COMMANDMENTS'' (1956) had many great stars in it such as CHARLTON HESTON; YUL BRYNNER; EDWARD G. ROBINSON; YVONNE DE CARLO; JOHN DEREK; CEDRIC HARDWICKE; VINCENT PRICE; JOHN CARRADINE - just to name a few! The Egyptian Prince, Moses, learns of his true heritage as a Hebrew and his divine mission as the deliverer of his people.
