TEXACO #1 - 1913 MODEL T Bank in Box - RARE - MINT

This is it - the rarest of them all in the Texaco Truck Series. Released in 1984, the 1913 Model T replica began an annual series that continues even now (this year, #26 will be released).

Even rarer, this one is in MINT condition, with the original box and internal wrapping. The coin cover and key are intact and shown in one of the images. The box has a few minor shelf marks, but is in excellent condition, with the serial number stamped on the box. You may find some of these less expensive, but you won't find any in better condition!

If you're an avid Texaco collector, you know that this truck was selling at $1500 or higher in this condition. You get to take advantage of the economic realities, yet add value to your collection. I spent over 20 years wishing for a #1 I could afford, and now have TWO of them. But, here's your chance to buy this excellent model at a bargain price (I'm keeping the other one for myself).

ALL items will be photographed during packing for your protection and verification of condition. If you wish to add insurance to your purchase (some items will REQUIRE insurance), our photographs will provide proof of condition to the insurer. We will provide a "delivery confirmation number / tracking number" if offered by the carrier or class of shipping service.

Seller is not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged in shipping. Please add insurance if you want additional protection.

We WILL combine items to lower shipping costs if you advise us you are bidding on an additional item, or win an additional bid prior to paying for the items. You must request this service.

Your bid is a legal contract to purchase the item. Please be sure you read the full description and view all available photos to make sure the item is what you want to bid on. Many items are collector items and are worn from display or use, or a box may have shelf wear. We will advise you if an item is new and previously unopened, but we WILL remove all items from their original packing material to inspect for defects or damage, and photograph it prior to repacking, and the bid listing will include that information.

Returns will only be accepted if returned within 3 days after you receive item, with original box and accessories, and ONLY with prior authorization from us (we will issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization number), and returned at your expense. Normally, the only reason a return will be authorized is if we have mis-described or given you erroneous information in the item description. We will then issue you a refund, less shipping costs. In the event of a defect, return the item to us, at your cost (after prior authorization and receiving a RMA number), and we will replace the item, at our cost, if we have another in stock, or refund the item cost.

I am a private collector who has collected Texaco memorabilia for over 30 years, and retired from Texaco prior to the merger with Chevron Corporation. I am liquidating my private collection, which includes many unique and one-of-a-kind pieces, as well as many familiar collectible items. I personally purchased or collected all items, and can personally verify the authenticity and history of many of the very unusual memorabilia produced during Texaco's 100-plus years. I will provide that history, when applicable, and will be offering groupings of items that share historical or other similarities.
