dus10remi I just got the sword today and what can I say.... I'm speechless! This is by far the best sword I've ever owned. I still can’t get over how spectacular the Hamon on the blade is, and the all together fit and feel of the sword is perfect. The weight and balance is far better than anything I ever expected and the quality of the craftsmanship makes it “an original piece of art”. As great as this sword is, nothing can match the care and consideration you put into the transaction to make everything a smooth and helpful purchase. nasdaqman13 HEY! I got the sword today and WOW ! I am very pleased with it. Your customer service and expertise was wonderful. The Hamon is FABULOUS, completely authentic and easy to see. The Blade is SUPER, no dings or scratches whatsoever and the curve is IMPRESSIVE. The fit is a 10 and so are the fittings. But what surprised me among all these great qualities is the weight. It seems to weigh near 2.5 LBS and IT HANDLES LIKE I WAS BORN WITH IT ! Anyway, I am very happy with the sword and the saya too. The wrapping is EXCELLENT and the tsuba is an eye catcher as well. I am happy this worked out Haz and I am sure I will get another one. Can’t say when though, I am “EYEBALLING” the Death Frenzy and of course the Emerald Warrior katanas still. THX HAZ ! Randy

spearman8y75 Dear Haz, WOW! I am delighted with this sword. My primary hope was sharp and it is pleasingly so. It has a wonderful overall balance. I had thought by the photos that the Tsuba was a tad garish but in person due to it's black highlights it seems perfect and in harmony. The Hamon shows up much more distinct than the photos and the slightly longer Kissaki is very pleasing. The katanas available locally and at the Gun and Knife show here are pure flea market junk. I have collected knives and various edged things for the last 25 years. Buy, sell ,trade and keep the favorites. I have very little expertise in Japanese swords but have handled enough fine edged items to know the sword you sold to me is a "goodun". Your “Black Obake Katana” is poetry in steel. I had some time to look closer at the Katana I received from you and it is indeed very nice no bumps or anything in fact the blade has cleaner lines than the L6 “Oni” that I paid over a grand for. It has a robust hamon and is very sharp. The polish is nice and geometry seems traditional. I have bought many Katana this year.
