Album Description:

The TWO First Issue STEREO Vinyl LPs are on the traditional DARK GREEN Apple label, all bearing the ‘Sold in UK Subject to resale.…’, together with ‘An E.M.I. Recording’ and ‘Mfd. In UK’ label text. All four labels are printed ‘Stereo’.

Record 1, Side 1 matrix YEX 709-1, Side 2: YEX 710-1.
Record 1, Side 1 stampers: 4/GDA, Side 2: 3/LM.
Record 2, Side 3 matrix: YEX 711-1 , Side 4: YEX 712-1.
Record 2, Side 3 stampers: 1/GPP, Side 4: 1/RO .
There is an embossed ‘KT’ tax/price code to the centre of the Record 1, Side 1 record label.

The TWO 12" Vinyl LPs come in their ORIGINAL Matt Black Die Cut Inner Bags.

….And are housed in a STRIKINGLY CLEAN, ORIGINAL, FULLY LAMINATED Garrod and Lofthouse GATEFOLD Sleeve. The FIRST ISSUE Sleeve is TOP OPENING and NUMBERED 0456588 - the number is printed to the lower portion of the front of the sleeve. ‘The BEATLES’ is embossed a little way up above the number. The sleeve opens out to reveal black and white portraits of each of The Beatles together with the track listing. The top right hand corner of the reverse of the sleeve is printed ‘Stereo’.

There are Four ORIGINAL Full Colour GLOSSY PHOTOGRAPHS – one of each Beatle.

And an ORIGINAL Large Format, Double Sided, Lyric POSTER printed by Garrod and Lofthouse.

Audio Quality:

Having carefully played both LPs, all FOUR sides play BEAUTIFULLY throughout all the tracks, with the exception of a light ‘click’ on Record 1, Side 2, from the end of ‘I’m So Tired’ running into ‘Blackbird’. There are NO other skips or clicks.

Condition:

Record 1, Sides 1 and 2 record labels are in IMPRESSIVE excellent plus condition, CLEAN, UNDAMAGED set of record labels, with VIVID Black Print, showing only light spider trails to either side. Record 2, Side 3 and 4 record labels are in SUPERB near mint condition, with no more than a couple of light spider trails to either side.

Record 1, Side 1 of the vinyl disc is visually in SUPERB excellent plus condition, showing nothing more than a couple of light wispy surface hairlines. Record 1, Side 2 of the Vinyl disc is excellent, with only a few more light surface marks than side 1. Record 2, Sides 3 and Side 4 of the Vinyl Disc are in excellent plus condition, just a couple of light wispy surface hairlines. There are NO scuffs or deep scratches to any of the DEEP GLOSS SHINY Vinyl surfaces.

The Original Fully Laminated Gatefold sleeve is in IMPRESSIVE excellent plus condition. What instantly hits you about this sleeve is how CLEAN, FIRM, FLAT and ULTRA GLOSSY it is throughout, and how it has retained its WHITENESS, with only minimal age toning to the edges, and extremely mild record indentation to the front and reverse. The back panel too is CLEAN, NEAT and STRONG with only mild age toning to the spine and top edge. The inner gatefold is in SUPERB, UNDAMAGED condition. The spine edge is in FINE condition, with only very minimal laminate flaking – nothing serious - and the printed wording ‘The Beatles, Stereo PCS 7067-8, Mono PMC 7067-8‘ clearly readable. There is a small crease to the bottom right hand corner.

The four Original GLOSSY colour Photographs are all in UNDAMAGED near mint condition.

The Original factory folded Lyric Poster is in SUPERB near mint condition, not even a seam split to any of the folds!

The two Original Matt Black Die Cut Paper Inner Bags are RESPECTABLE. They show some unavoidable creasing. One has a couple of 2" seam splits, and a small tear to the top, but nothing major.

IMPRESSIVE and COMPLETE examples of The Beatles UK WHITE album are becoming EVEN HARDER TO FIND now - they have never been easy. Many have been purchased by Serious Beatles collectors over recent years and will RARELY re-emerge on the open market. Not to be missed, this is a SUBSTANTIALLY SUPERIOR Example.
