"The Bell of Hope" by Ted De Grazia. Mr. De Grazia is an Internationally famous artist, whose paintings, ceramics, bronzes and jewelry depicting the people and history of the Southwest are among its richest treasures.

Ted De Grazia, half Italian and half Indian, was born in Apache Country at the copper mining camp of Morenci in 1909. He is considered to be one of our great landscape painters. This is one of the most beautiful plates he has painted.

"The Bell Of Hope" is from his original oil paintings in the Children’s Series. It depicts a child of the desert, an angel as he states, with "The Bell." This is a beautiful rendition, very colorful and masterfully executed.

The plate is banded in gold. Originally made in 1977. These are collector’s works of art, and considered very rare. They were very expensive at the original purchase and have increased in value since.

We are the original purchasers of this plate and it has been stored in it's original box since then. It is in excellent condition.
