The BLACK NINJA DRAGON Samurai Katana Sword is a ferociously sharp Full Tang - Double Pegged Weapon forged from a select grade of High Carbon Steel.

As one can see from the actual photographs (please use enlarge function to view HD close-up photographs) The Black Ninja Dragon is by no means your average katana sword, but rather it is a true Bujinkan Weapon of the highest caliber and craftsmanship, a cutter that is equally at home in the dojo, backyard or battlefield.   

The 11 ¼” Tsuka (handle) is wrapped in tightly woven Black Tsuka-ito in the diamond pattern, while the underlying Samegawa (real rayskin) is Jet Black.

The Full Bo-hi (aka Blood Grooves/Fuller) Black Ninja Dragon Samurai Katana Sword sports a uniquely crafted Ninpo Taijutsu Tsuba (Four Square Ninja Handguard) that features an Enraged Dragon in very great detail.

mcwec200  Dear Haz: The sword arrived today. That is some ridiculously fast shipping! When I saw the finish I was almost afraid to cut with it cause it so great, but I pushed passed my fear. This is one hell of a balanced blade. I was doing single cuts, double cuts, even triple cuts with ease on tatami mats. This thing cuts like a laser. I own several top end katanas but even my best doesn't have the level of individual detail and care the Fengdu Devil does. The weight and balance are phenomenal, I'm able to perform (toyama-ryu) kata faster and smoother than I ever thought possible. The ghost temperlines are truly amazing. The katate maki is well woven, and the fittings are very snug! I can’t seem to put this blade down...even as I’m typing this. The Fengdu Devil is a tool I will definitely be using for a long time to come regardless of rain, shine, or zombie apocalypse. Thank you Haz for such a unique, beautiful, and finely crafted sword.

cdetera    Haz, I am really impressed with the Black Dragon Ninja-to. From the Kashira to Kissaki and from Mune to Ha it is no less than perfect. The Tsuba is definitely better looking than in the pictures and  the ito is tightly wrapped over the black Same. As far as the Saya is concerned, the Sageo is tightly and cleanly wrapped on both sides nice Kurikata. The Saya is a true match for the sword. It fits perfectly - not too tight and not to loose and definitely there’s not a single scratch around the Habaki. The Black Dragon Ninja-to blade’s Ha is surgical. Hamon is gorgeous. Bohi is perfect. Polish is flawless. As for its performance, well it is my fastest drawing sword. For now I just want to admire its beauty. This is one that I can be proud of handing down to my future kids. :) Again, my deepest gratitude for such a masterpiece - a work of art, a “true masterpiece” that rivals those you can get for more than twice its price! ninja1dawg HAZ!  The Warriors Ruby just came and oh my god it feels like Christmas morning.  When I took the sword out of the box, the first words that came to my mind were "Perfect, Beautiful, and worth it." Everything about it is top quality and solid.  It's the most beautiful thing in my house now. I don’t know what possibly could be better about this sword. It’s so natural and in harmony with the rest of the hardware. I wish i could tell more people about your swords. It is indeed handsome. How black the tsuka  ito is with the red rayskin underneath is like a Black Widow Spider, and the golden menuki adds so much brilliance.  I love it !  I studied the blade for half an hour straight unable to look away and I don’t think I'll be letting it out of my sight for awhile.  Thank you so much Haz and know that I'll still be watching your store like a hawk.

The Blade is SUPER, no dings or scratches whatsoever and the curve is IMPRESSIVE. The fit is a 10 and so are the fittings. But what surprised me among all these great qualities is the weight. It seems to weigh near 2.5 LBS and  IT HANDLES LIKE I WAS BORN WITH IT !  Anyway, I am very happy with the sword and the saya too. The wrapping is EXCELLENT and the tsuba is an eye catcher as well. spearman8y75  Dear Haz, WOW! I am delighted with this sword.  My primary hope was sharp and it is pleasingly so. It has a wonderful overall balance. I had thought by the photos that the Tsuba was a tad garish but in person due to it's black highlights it seems perfect and in harmony. The Hamon shows up much more distinct than the photos and the slightly longer Kissaki is very pleasing. The katanas available locally and at the Gun and Knife show here are pure flea market junk. I have collected knives and various edged things for the last 25 years. Buy, sell ,trade and keep the favorites. I have very little expertise in Japanese swords but have handled enough fine edged items to know the sword you sold to me is a "goodun".  Your “Black Obake Katana” is poetry in steel.
