Softcover 8-1/2" tall x 6-1/2" wide in Very Good+ condition. Part of the Canadians series of biographies. This one is about Ned Hanlan, Canadian oarsman, the world single sculls champion from 1880 to 1884, Many b&w pictures throughout this 64-page booklet. See auction picture of two stamps pasted on the Prologue page. The first is a Thomas Eakins painting reproduction U.S. Scott #1335 5-cent stamp. The second is the royal Canadian Henley Regatta, Canada Scott #968 30-cent stamp. Also a Circular Postal Museum Date Stamp, Ottawa Canada Cancellation with date of cancellation 8/31/1982. Book is not ex-library. Proceeds benefit Lancaster PA Public Library.
