- Boards are straight and clean.

- Textblock edges are lightly flecked. Some offsetting to the endpapers.
- No names, inscriptions or bookplates. Not ex-library.
- Internally tight, bright, clean and unmarked.
Dustjacket:
- The jacket is slightly age-toned with some sunning to the spine.
- The extremities show some wear.
- There is a 1" closed tear at the front corner of the spine head, previously repaired with tape on the reverse.
- The spine head has a 1/4" chip loss as does the top rear fore-corner (with an associated 1/4" closed tear).
- The original price of $3.00 is extant at the top of the front flap.
- The jacket is now protected in archival mylar.
