THE GOLIATH 1903 $50 Bank of Montreal Double Size Note!

This listing features the Goliath & Majestic $50 Bank Specimen Note (Waterlow & Sons) from the legendary Bank of Montreal 1903 Double-Size issue.  What an absolutely amazing piece, the use of color, size and overall design represent the pinnacle of Canadian Bank Notes.

I believe this is as big as they come in the history of Canadian Paper Money at over 19cm by 16 1/2cm.  Bigger than the 1902 Imperial Bank of Canada issue.

I have never owned or brokered the sale of one before so I am in no rush to part with it, what is quite likely a once in a lifetime opportunity.  I know the whereabouts of only one issued note and it is valued by its owner (who isn't selling) at multiples of the asking price of this EF40 PMG graded Specimen. 

The note is much more difficult to replace the capital required to purchase it.
