A fade-resistant, water-based dye that goes on smoothly, dries quickly, and blends very easily. Once dry, you can paint over it, apply coloring such as Gilders Paste, or seal with a spray sealant such as polyurethane.

The Gourd Dye™ also works great on wood! Since gourds are a natural material that varies in density and coloring from gourd to gourd, you can expect (and relish) that each gourd will look a bit different with these dyes.

The Gourd Dye™ is water based so you should spray sealer on your gourd or wood to protect it. In addition to protection, sealers often increase the depth and beauty of the coloring of any dye.

This comes in a powder that is easily mixed with hot tap water. You will receive the powder dye, a 4 ounce jar with a sponge applicator, instructions, and hints.
