I bought this sparkling clean quart size jar about 10 years ago from a guy, who told me he brought it out here to the West Coast, from their old family home in New Hampshire, where, he said, he found it in the attic.
The nice thing about this jar is, it has the correct lid. It's hard to read, but is marked; PAT APR 27 09.
The condition is excellent; there are some very light scratches on the side panels and some more substantial scratches or wear on the base, but not bad, and no chips or stains. The lid has rust and corrosion but works perfectly and has no dents or cracks. The base is embossed; MFD BY Smalley, Kivlan & Onthanks/ Patented April 27 1909/ Boston, Mass. Thanks
