An amazing play that was very obscure until it was made into the incredible film with Richard Burton and Katherine Hepburn. Contains a very interesting early gay subplot between the King of France and one of Henry's sons.

This is the hardcover book club edition of the play published in 1981, fifteen years after the play's short run on Broadway in 1966.
