Movie description
With the hilarious, award-winning series THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW, creators James L. Brooks and Allan Burns created a platform on which Moore could display her skills as a comedian. Prior to the show, Moore had been known to audiences as Dick Van Dyke's eccentric housewife. With the new series, she emerged as a comedian in her own right, playing an independent, thirtysomething-year-old career woman. Moore plays a quirky reporter at WJM-TV, Minneapolis's lowest-rated evening news show. Moore's Mary Richards shines alongside several equally humorous characters like Lou (Edward Asner), Murray (Gavin MacLeod), Ted (Ted Knight), Phyllis (Cloris Leachman), and Rhoda (Valerie Harper). Asner, Leachman, and Rhoda so impressed audiences that they each went on to star in their own comedy series. This set contains all 23 episodes of the show's second season.

Standard Shipping -  Free for this item.  Single disc DVDs are shipped First Class.  Two disc sets and multiple orders are shipped via Media Mail. Unlike most other movie sellers, we self insure, meaning you do not have to pay additional money to insure your order. If your order is lost or damaged, we will replace it.  When comparing Shipping & Handling charges, remember that Delivery Confirmation and our insurance are included at no additional cost.  Estimated delivery time is 4 to 14 days.

Priority Shipping - $2.50 for the first DVD, and no additional charge for multiple items that also have free shipping.  Estimated delivery time is 2 to 5 days.  All orders are insured by us at no additional cost.

Please note that some of our items offer free shipping while others do not.  If you want to combine items that have a free shipping offer with those that do not, please request an invoice prior to paying as the additional item charge will apply on those items without free shipping.
