Hardback in Very Good+ condition in a Very Good- dust jacket that is in a mylar protector. Navy blue boards with bright gilt spine lettering. Owner's name on front free endpaper dated 1960. 187 pages in this 1956 reprint of the July 1955 book. No ISBN is listed as they were not in use then. Ebay has one attached to this template, but there is none in the book. Published in 1956 by Thomas Nelson and Sons, Ltd., printed in Edinburgh, Scotland. Endpapers have maps of Early Scotland, one Physical and one Political.Dust jacket is not price-clipped but has a few tears at bottom of front jacket and is in a mylar protector. Some line drawings throughout and a 12-page glossy photo section in b&w. Proceeds benefit Lancaster PA Public Library.
