Brief Biography
David Foster was born in the Blue Mountains of New
South Wales in 1944. He graduated from the University
of Sydney and the Australian National University in
Canberra. He worked as a research scientist in the USA
and Sydney before taking up full-time writing in 1972.
Co-Winner The Age Book of the Year 1974.
