Published by The International Association of Newspapers in 1901, this was edited by "Q" and subtitled "Being the memoirs of the adventures of Mr. John Marvel, a servant of his late majesty King Charles I, in the years 1942-43: written by himself." A chronicle full of action, 328 pages.  Binding is light blue cloth with a raised illustration, about 7" tall.

 

In very good condition for its antique age, the wear is:  Slightly loose front hinge but not cracked.  Fading to spine & edges, a dimple at front side.
