THREE 2 piece crown or livery buttons. One was made by G & Cie Paris, one by Sutton, 134 Bd Haussmann and the other one just has Extra Fein on the reverse side. ((( The G & Cie crown button has G & Cie, coat of arms, Paris and the number 28 which is the button's diameter expressed numerically in millimeters written on the reverse side. ))) Gourdin et Cie was located at 16 Rue Cloitre St. Honore Paris. This company made many high quality uniformbuttons for the American Military from 1848-1900, plus the well know and highly prized CONFEDERACY button for the Adjutant General's Department specimens (( CSAG250, 251 )) These two buttons were bought at a coin show in a display case packed with British buttons and other misc. British items. Not sure, but I believe these are not British as I cannot find them listed in Fairbairn's Crests from Great Britain and Ireland. I am not sure of the age of the second button marked Extra Fein or who made the second one, but I am just hoping someone can use it. If not sold I will add then to other buttons for sale on E-Bay at a future sale but my thanks for looking. If time please check seller'sotherlistings as you just never know and I will of course help with shipping cost if buying more then one item.
