Description ~ No golf card or Tiger card collection could be complete without this card. The problem is that it is a very expensive proposition to add one to your collection. It is widely regarded as Tiger's first card and Rookie card and demand far exceeds supply. This card has always been condition sensitive for a few reasons. First, it is a perforated card that had to be removed from a sheet bound into a magazine. That raises issues and difficulty with creasing and tearing when trying to remove the card. Secondly is the way the cards were printed. They were nine cards per sheet and the perforations rarely aligned with the card printing. This resulted in the yellow and blue borders spilling over onto an adjacent card. Nice examples of this card command quite a premium and even cards with flaws sell for hundreds. This card does not fall into those categories as it has four condition problems. The top left corner is slightly soft and there is a corner crease on the bottom left. The top border is showing a little yellow and the back of the card has paper loss from a poor attempt to remove it from the sheet. The problems only minimally impact the appearance of the card as the front displays very well and you can add this card to your collection for a fraction of the normal cost.
