Information about lizard leather: Lizard leather is beautiful and extremely durable. All of our skins are purchased at the best tannery in France and we make no compromise as to the quality.
The iguana skin (Varanus Niloticus) is the most common specie on the leather market for lizard skins. The ventral part of the skin has oval scales, whilst the sides have a more squared aspect. One of the specialties of the iguana is its large tail with squared scales.
Main usage of iguana skins are small leather goods, watchstraps, shoes, bags, belts and gloves.
Slight imperfections and color variations may occasionally appear in the leather which will only enhance the natural beauty of this item. Each wallet will always have a unique texture and pattern which makes every item different from another.
