THESE ARE VERY UNUSUAL, RARE 5 LAYER, YELLOW CHEVRONS, CALLED "ONION SKINS" BY BEAD COLLECTORS, AS THEY RESEMBLE THE SKIN OF AN ONION. THEY ARE FROM THE LATE 1800'S TO EARLY 1900'S. THE CENTER LAYER IS BLUE, THAN WHITE, BLUE, WHITE, WITH A YELLOW OUTER LAYER, WITH INNER WHITE STRIPES. THERE ARE 2 GLASS BEADS, IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, ABOUT 11MM IN LENGTH, 7MM TO 7.5MM IN DIAMETER, 2MM TO 2.5MM CENTER HOLE. THESE BEADS ARE GETTING VERY HARD TO FIND TODAY, ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION.
