Trader Joe's: Fair Trade Organic Black Tea

I sell only new, fresh foods in their original, unopened packaging. Whenever possible, I will clearly state the expiration dates or "best by" dates of the foods.

This auction is for one brand new, shrinkwrapped, unopened box of Trader Joe's Fair Trade Organic Black Tea. It's from the Nilgiri mountains of south India. You get 20 tea bags, 1.41 ounces (40g) total in this box. These tea bags are individually wrapped. The box says "Fair trade empowers farmers to invest in their communities, protect the environment and develop the business skills to compete in the global marketplace. In the Nilgiri mountains of south India, you'll find fair trade and organic plantations dedicated to sustainable farming methods and conservation for the local ecosystem dotting the lush green landscape. From these plantations, we bring you our Trader Joe's fair trade organic black tea. These tea leaves are grown at an elevation of 4,000 feet where the growing conditions help produce a full-bodied and flavorful tea."

Ingredients: Fair Trade organic black tea.

Brewing instructions: Bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil. Pour water over a tea bag and brew for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bag. If desired, serve with lemon and/or sweetener. Iced tea by the pitcher: Bring fresh cold water to a rolling boil. Pour 4 cups over 3 to 5 teabags and brew for 3-5 minutes. Remove bags and pour over ice filled glasses. If desired, serve with lemon and/or sweetener.

The box measures 2.10 inches across and 5.2 inches tall.

These teas were bought in Seattle in August 2008 and are brand new, unopened. My home is a non-smoking home.
