with old Slavonic editing by two different hands.

Text in black and red.
Title, chapter number and chapter headings in red.

Size c. H 24 cm / W 22 cm. The Book is c. 11 cm thick.
Item has traces of wear and tear, befitting its age.

 Trebnik - the prayer book containing chinoposledovaniya of Sacraments and other religous rites, made by church in special cases and not a part of temple (public) divine service daily, sedmichnogo and an annual circle.
The book has received the name from a word «treba» which in old russian language had sacral sense and meant: "victim", "sacrifice", "pray", « execution of a sacred ceremony ». Now as a word «treba» refer to molitvosloviya and the religous rites made under the request (on potrebam, to needs) one or several Christians in special circumstances of their life.

Trebnik of metropolitan Kiev Peter Mogila - has been made with the purpose to give southwest clergy not only again processed official prayer book cleared of errors and errors, occurred in church ceremonialism malorosiyskih churches under influence of a Catholicism, but also integral practical guidance in all cases making private divine service. However it has included in the Trebnik some chinoposledovaniya and molitvosloviya with explanatory remarks from the Roman Trebnik of 1615, edit for the first time at daddy Paul V per 1603.

Under the contents Peter Mogily's Trebnik shares on three parts. The first part contains chinoposledovaniya Sacraments and the major molitvosloviy, concerning by a life of the Christian from its birth to death. In the second part of the Trebnik there are grades on consecration and blagoslovenie various accessories of a temple and subjects of a life of Christians. In the third part prayers in occasion of the events having character of public disasters, and also the events, separate Christians concerning to a life or public groups contain.
