DESCRIPTION:

Wonderful two piece ensemble set by the American designer Pauline Trigere
Navy blue linen-like slubbed fabric in deep navy blue
Sleeveless fitted bodice with fabulous curved seaming details for a flattering fit
Skirt is accented with inverted box pleats
On-seam side pockets on skirt
Fabulous three inch wide woven trim on hem of dress
Matching fabric short crop jacket has long sleeves with turned up and notched cuffs
Darts on jacket
Matching woven trim on bottom of jacket
Both pieces are fully lined

MEASUREMENTS: (All measurements are taken with the garment laid flat using a flexible sewing tape measure - not a metal tape measure. Bust, waist and hip measurements are doubled. These are the exact measurements of the garment. Please allow room for ease of movement. We suggest measuring a similar garment of yours and comparing it to the items measurements. MATERIAL: No fabric label, but fabric is similar to a linen, but does not wrinkle. Probably a blend fabric with rayon??

LABEL: Pauline Trigere; Also a "Sara Fredericks" store label which was a very exclusive women's store.

CIRCA: Late 1960s to early 1970s

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. No issues were noted upon inspection. Beautiful dress and jacket set!
