"TRUE" CUSTOM MADE WEDDING GOWN and/or THEME WEDDING

This listing is NOT for an actual gown but a fee for my time to work with you to create the wedding gown you want at the price you can afford.

WHAT?!?  Please let me explain:  I'm an experienced seamstress who has been taking orders for custom made wedding gowns over the internet for about 6 years now - tho I've been sewing for much longer!  I've made gowns and shipped them all over the US and Canada.  Most of those orders came to me thru a site that allowed brides-to-be to list their "wants" and I could contact them.  Unfortunately, that site is no longer available so I'm putting this listing on eBay.

What I offer is a "true" custom made gown, not an altered gown.    You tell me what you're looking for (if you've got a picture, that's great! - if not, no problem) and what you can afford to spend on your gown.   Even if you're not sure what you want, as long as you've got a price maximum in mind, we can look at all kinds of options.   Maybe you've got your own design and are looking for a seamstress who can make it for you at an affordable price.   The gown will be made to your measurements and specifications of first quality bridal fabrics.   NOTE:  Due to the current economic conditions, I am willing to work with you to get the gown you want at the price you can afford.

To start the process, simply send me (with payment) the style gown you're looking for or tell me you don't know what style, the maximum price you can afford, the color you want, any fabric preference you may have, your size and an email address to send pictures to.   

Working back and forth thru email, sending pictures and sketches, questions and answers, all the details of your gown will be worked out.  At that point, I can compute a final price for your gown.  If you decide you want to order the gown from me, I will create a special "Buy It Now" listing just for you. 

To complete your gown, I will ask for specific measurements (I'll send instructions and pictures for taking them) then I set one of my dressforms to your measurements and fit the gown to it.  I make a pattern sized to your measurements and then make the gown from it.  I do not make the gown and then alter it to fit you.

Shipping costs will also be estimated at that time based on zip code and estimated shipping weight.  I ship all gowns USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation and fully insured.  There is a $5 handling fee to cover the cost of packing materials.  If you prefer UPS or other shipping method, I'm happy to do so, just let me know.

As a "Thank You" for purchasing a gown from me, I offer a FREE Veil and Headpiece with purchase.  The veil will be your choice of style and length as well as edging:  plain, rolled hem, ribbon, lace or beaded.  A headpiece (excluding tiara) made of the same fabric and trims as the gown for a perfect match, is also offered.  Both must be chosen from my selection.

I currently have listed in my store, several gowns I've made "between" orders which are fairly simple gowns.  Of course any of them can be ordered custom made as well.  But they do give an idea of my work.   

This offer also applies to Bridesmaids dresses, flower girl's dresses, Mother of the Bride and/or Groom dresses, etc.  Also, I will do period or theme weddings, i.e. Renaissance, Victorian, 50's, etc. (including clothing for the gentlemen in the wedding party) and I'm happy to provide estimates for that as well. 

I know there are hundreds of other listings for "Custom Made" gowns.  The majority of those sellers are in China.  I am not.  I'm located in central Wisconsin so all gowns I make are MADE IN THE USA.
