This lamp is entirely handcrafted by skilled contemporary Venetian artisans, who share backgound of many years training, high specialization, enormous amount of patience, skillful ability and devoted love for their work. Their work is carried out in a little laboratory of the historical city of Venice, and they are inspired by the Art Nouveau designs of the 1900's, in particular by the works of the Spanish artist Mariano Fortuny.
Each item is made individually and by hand and therefore there are no two identical pieces. This ensures that each item is unique and individual.
The shade is made in opalescent silk fabric of the highest quality, streched over a metal frame, and then decorated freehand with a thin paint brush and warm coloured paint. The light that filters through the silk is very warm and recreates the designs of the fabric, giving the space a very special feel.
The cording that runs though the lamp gives it its unique structural appearance, and is decorated with glass beads made by the glass master artisans of the closeby furnaces of the island of Murano.
The central glass blown beads are also blown individually, and each one is different from the other. Through its empty body, the light is reflected onto the shiny and elegant cotton tassel, which is beautifully soft to the touch.

Your item will be professionally packed and delivered to your door for FREE using only the best Express Shipping Couriers
Delivery times are on average four days for Europe and five days for the rest of the world.
The parcel will have a tracking number which we will communicate to you as soon as your parcel is sent, so that you will be able to track it online from the shipping company's website and always know where your parcel is while it is travelling.
If you are not in when the shipping company comes to deliver your goods they will call you at the telephone number you provide us with and arrange delivery to your convenience. Delivery times are weekdays between 09.00 and 18.00.
