The ZL-1000/UV removes dust, pollen, pet dander and smoke from the air through its unique design. Air in drawn through its whisper quiet fan into the electronic filter which traps the particulate on the collector rods inside the unit! The ultraviolet light generated by the UVC Germicidal Lamp is at a wavelength of 254 nanometers and its photons have the exact energy needed to destroy the DNA of all kinds of microorganisms, including bacteria, mold spores and viruses.
