This auction is for TWO USS New York Zippos- LPD 21 (The picture shows one zippo-- but the auction is for TWO USS New York Zippos (buy one and give one to a friend). Both mint and new as shown.

Any further sales of this zippo will have a percentage given to either military veterans or 9/11 groups. If you have any suggestions for a RESPONSIBLE organization in this area (a group that dosen't waste money like VIETNOW (VietNow is wasteful group that only gives 20% or less of donations to Veterans-- and keeps the remaining 80% for "administrative costs")- please let me know.

Mint --- and New. Wow this one is a stunner- ships lighter. Paint on brushed chrome. Talk about turning tradgedy into triumph.

As many know; the superstructure of this ship was made with steel remnants of the World Trade Center fused into the bow of the ship when it was made- how appropriate. The crest includes the two gray vertical bars representing the Twin Towers. Cutlass and crossed sword representing the USMC and USN. The phoenix is shown rising from the ashes/flames- the phoenix's breast plate has the color of the NYFD,

NYPD and Port Authority.
