Tahiti Lamp by ETTORE SOTTSASS for Memphis Milano

ITEM - We are selling many items from an estate sale here in Hawaii. My client has many designer clothes, shoes, jewelry and fine art that we will be listing, please check our other auctions. 

This is a designer "Tahiti" Table Lamp by Ettore Sottsass for Memphis. On the bottom of the lamp, it reads "Ettore Sottsass 1981 No. 40." It has never been taken out of the bubble wrap, and is in excellent condition. Made of plastic laminate and metal, it is 23.5" high. It uses a 50W halogen bulb. On other sites, this same lamp is selling between $1250-$1500. 

Because this item is almost 12lbs, we will need to ship it in a big box with lots of packing. We will ship parcel post to keep the shipping costs down. For international bidders, please contact us for shipping rates before bidding, it can get quite expensive for something this heavy.

TERMS OF SALE - We re-sell items from clients and estate sales. Some of the items may be antique, vintage, pre-owned or used. We will describe the item to the best of our ability, so please read the item description, study the photos and email us if you have any questions.

PAYMENT - PAYPAL is currently the only method of payment accepted. Payment must be completed within 5 business days of auction closing or purchasing item. Otherwise we will either re-list the item or sell to the 2nd highest bidder.   

SHIPPING FEES  - U.S. PARCEL POST MAIL: We ask that you submit payment on the 5th day to close any invoice within the allotted 5 days to be processed and shipped.  At that time, please pay for all items that you are shipping. Please allow 3-4 days for us to ship your item after cleared payment. Please remember that since we ship from Hawaii, postage may be a bit higher than the 48 contiguous states, and may take a little longer. Parcel Post can take up to a month in some instances. 

On large items such as framed artwork, many times the shipping fee is just an estimate in order to post the item on eBay. Please wait for actual shipping costs before making payment. 

HANDLING FEES  - Sometimes we charge a handling fee for fragile, unusual-sized or large items. For International mailings, we may charge a handling fee as items must be taken to the post office and processed. Handling fees are for coverage against loss or damage and any necessary packing material. (We do not charge a handling fee for labor.) 

COMBINED SHIPPING - On items won within a 5 day period, we will combine your items to save you money on shipping charges. For both domestic and international buyers, if you are unsure of your total shipping/handling fee after purchasing multiple items please request an invoice. 

INSURANCE - $1.75 per $50.00 or less /$2.50 per $100.00 (final auction price) is optional and highly recommended as we are shipping from the state of Hawaii.  You ship at your own risk, therefore, we will not be held accountable for lost or damaged packages. 

RETURNS - Returns are accepted ONLY if the item is not as described upon arrival. We do our absolute best to describe the item in detail. 

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS - Please contact us for shipping and handling rates before bidding. Per US and International laws, we do not mark any parcels with “Gift.” Buyer assumes responsibility for all customs fees, duties, taxes, tariffs and/or other charges that may apply outside of the USA. No insurance is available on international shipments, therefore all shipments are at the buyer’s risk. (Please remember that on large items, the shipping costs listed are an estimate in order to list the item on eBay so you may view it.)
