With a spruce top, mahogany body, TP4T preamp and a cutaway dreadnought shape, this is a versatile performance guitar. The dreadnought body style was created in the 1920's to meet the demand for a louder, more powerful sounding guitar. The dreadnought has been the most popular and widely recognized acoustic guitar shape ever since. The dreadnought's broad top and deep body create a large resonant chamber that emphasizes bass response and provides a great deal of volume. This design excels in ensemble playing and is heavily favored by flat pick players. Features: •Body shape: dreadnought C/A About this instrument - As I am sure you have seen here on Ebay, there are many musical instrument dealers including myself selling this and similar instruments that are stamped "2nd" or "Used" on the back of the headstock. Instruments like this are purchased from an authorized refurbishing center that purchases direct from the manufacturers and has a team of technicians that go over every instrument, fix any minor flaws if any, or do any minor repairs, and test the instruments a total of five times before they ship. They are required to stamp the guitars to avoid any fraudulent warranty claims with the original manufacturers and dealers of these instruments are required to classify them as used. I have to tell you, I really have a hard time ever finding the reason they are stamped 2nd or used and if I do notice anything it will always be in the description. Because Jersey Guitar & Music is a somewhat small operation that prefers a very hands on approach to doing biz , I also inspect each guitar myself before I list it. All of our listings for these stamped instruments include pics of the actual instrument you will receive which I feel is important to see. I am sure you will be quite pleased with any of the 2nds or used stamped instruments I am selling. You can save yourself a few bucks and get a great instrument, and that is always nice. All of our listings for instruments stamped 2nd or Used will have the above disclaimer/information.
