Featuring a large maple top soundboard, maple back and sides and a compensated bridge for accurate intonation this guitar is equally at home flatpicking or playing fingerstyle.

The bright sound from the maple top and body is offset by the large jumbo body shape that adds a deep full low end timbre.

The Takamine TK-4N Preamplifier found on Takamine EG523SC guitars features volume control, bass, middle and treble frequency slider controls, EQ bypass, a Notch Filter and a Mid Contour Switch.

The combination of natural acoustic resonance and a modern preamp with EQ give you a professional grade guitar made for performing live with a band or solo as well as recording.
