Tall Blue Opalescent Glass Opal Stripe Urn Vase Stripes

Hi,  I am a Chester County, PA folk artist and a second generation antique dealer. Since I am now painting full time, the antiques have taken a back seat. While I no longer have an antique shop, I still have a passion for old things! Often when I am out looking for interesting things to paint on, I find other great vintage treasures that I bring home to share with you. 

Here is a nice tall blue opalescent glass vase that is shown in "The Standard Encyclopiedia of Opalescent Glass" by Edwards. It is listed as Opal Urn Vase with an unknown maker -- possibly English. Just about every company that made opalescent glass made a stripe pattern, so it is very hard to pin down the maker of these patterns. The quality of the glass is very good and the opal stripes go all the way down to the bottom. The top of the vase is fluted and has a bit more opal around the edge. VERY nice vase! 

Condition:
there is one chip on the top rim -- about 1/4" long and shallow -  see photo for a better idea.
