This auction is for a   Targus 56K Compact Flash (CF) Fax/Data Modem

 

The unit is in great shape.  Perfect companion to your PDA such as iPAQ from Compaq, to connect to the web. Just plug it into the Ipaq CF Sleeve, connect to your existing phone line, and you’re ready to go (you need an ISP off course). The device is PLUG and Play which means it doesn’t require any software or Drivers. For other PDA such as AXIM, you can just plug in directly to the CF slot.

 

For those getting this for their PocketPC devices, I’m also including some great PocketPC games such as:

 

  • Turjah (great action game)
  • Strip Poker (with Saskia, and double trouble)
  • Pacman.

 

 

 

Features

The Targus Pocket Modem 56K V.90 allows the user to connect their PDA handheld computer (running Windows CE 2.0 and higher or Pocket PC) to the Internet or to check their email using standard phone lines. This small, lightweight, portable Compact Flash modem uses Conexant K56flex technology. The performance of this Compact Flash modem equals any in its class.
The Targus Pocket Modem has a built-in folding RJ-11 jack (standard phone line) built into a Compact Flash card. This convenient feature eliminates the bulky housing that contains the standard RJ-11 phone jack.

Benefits for this Compact Flash modem include high-speed portable connectivity, convenience, and low power consumption. Installation only takes a few minutes and the Compact Flash modem is hot swappable, meaning you can plug it in without having to re-boot your machine.
