A tower, built upon a solid rock foundation, is struck by lightening and begins to crumble. The crown of heaven is falling and, removed from its proteection, both kind and queen are tumbling to their doom. The picture is one of removal and cleansing of that which has been constricted.

The pendant can symbolize the destruction of ego but may also show physical desplacements. The positive aspect is that the bedrock remains, revealing the possibility of seeing ultimate reality freed of artificial constructs.

When the Querent gets this card, they can expect to be shaken up, to be blinded by a shocking revelation. It sometimes takes that to see a truth that one refuses to see. Or to bring down beliefs that are so well constructed. What's most important to remember is that the tearing down of this structure, however painful, makes room for something new to be built.
