        Taters Wishing Well

Over fifteen hundred years ago 2 people traveled to a specific crevice deep in the heart of Europe made a wish, threw in a coin and hoped it would come true. Over the years many thousands of people continued this practice of throwing coins, medals and other trinkets deep into the earth praying their wish would come true. Maybe a mother threw in a coin hoping for peace and that her son would return safely from war or a husband wished his sick wife would would return to good health. Maybe someone made a wish that the person that found the coin someday would have good luck. This practice continues to this day all over the world many times as a "wishing well," other times in spots like this where there was just a deep hole in the ground.

The land where this crevice is was sold about 5 years ago and Tater has gained exclusive rights to this "wishing well" where over 20000 coins, medals and other items have been recovered. Nothing has dated older than about the 4th century A.D. and some items date as recently as the 1990's.

The item in the picture is the item that you will receive. There are just too many of these for Tater to attribute and authenticate,(and still try and keep his day job) however Tater can guarantee that item was thrown into this crevice by some unknown person making a wish and maybe the luck of that wish will follow you. Tater has found gold ,silver, copper and brass coins as well as medals medallions, jetons and even a subway token. Tater will give you the best description he visably can give you but what you see in the picture is what you are buying, and if you have any questions about the item Tater will do his best to answer your question. Isn't it amazing to think you are buying an item thrown with a wish, and if you only knew what that wish was.     Tater
