This Celtic coin of about 100 B.C. is truly interesting. It is 18 millimeters wide and weighs 3.6 grams. It was found in modern day Spain and is uncleaned. This one is very choice. Pick this one up today !!!!!    Tater

The Roman imperial ae as was reissued under Augustus during the coin reform starting in 23 BC. Generally produced in copper and weighing ususally between 9 and 10 grams although as years went on they became smaller. Its denomination made it worth a fraction of the sestertius. two and one half asses equaled one sestertius.
