Roman Imperial ae Dupondius Coin Hadrian , Aequitas

Obverse: Laureate bust right of Hadrian

Reverse: Aequitas standing left holding scales

This ae dupondius of Hadrian is very good looking and is quite attractive. This Republic of San Marino find was struck on a 26 millimeter flan weighs 13.2 grams. There is an unidentified countermark on Hadrian's neck.The patina is a dark brown with lighter brown and tan earthen areas. When you consider this one survived almost 2000 odd years amidst World Wars and so many other disturbances in this condition you will want this one for your collection ! ............Tater
