Notes
Choreographer Peter Wright was responsible for this production, and for the ballet's revised scenario. He is the Artistic Director of Sadler's Wells Royal ballet.
    Tchaikovsky ballet expert Roland John Wiley helped Wright do the archival research on the ballet; they attempted to find whatever material survived on the original staging by Lev Ivanov and Sergueyev.

Zöe Dominic did the cinematography.

Additional cast: Guy Niblett (The Nutcracker) and Jonathan Cope (The Mouse King).

The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House performs the music.

Produced by BBC Television in association with NVC Arts.
