This
is a compact (12.5" x 7" x 5") Teac DV-C200 stereo
receiver with top-load CD/DVD player. AM, FM, and the AUX input work
great. We are selling
this item AS-IS, and suggest you think of this strictly as a CD player; the unit
played every one we tried very nicely. DVD play is on the other hand
is problematic; many discs go unrecognized. When the unit does
recognize a DVD, it seems to play fine. The cabinet looks good with some small mars and dinges
(too small to show well in the pix); note the marred volume knob. The
small whip FM antenna shown in the rear image is NOT included; instead
we'll supply a new standard dipole
antenna. You'll need to find an AM antenna (or simply use a long piece
of hookup wire for local reception). The power top lid works properly
and the belt which operates it is less than a year old. Note the array
of outputs this unit sports; digital (both optical and coaxial), analog
line, subwoofer drive, and both S and composite video. There is no
remote control included with this, although there is a IR sensor visible behind
the display window, and we found universal remote codes for this listed on the internet.
This is sold AS-IS due
to age and the described DVD issue.
