Tektites are a natural glass that is
associated with meteorites, stones from outer space. Their origin is
uncertain; they may be fragments of actual meteorites, or they may be
formed on the earth surface from the heat of the meteoric impact.
They may be distinguished from volcanic glass by their shape, their
pitted surface; and their association with known meteorite strew
fields. This tektite was acquired from an estate sale in Washington
State, USA, so it is most likely from the Pacific Northwest USA. We
have a few on hand; please browse our store. We offer combined

Tektite is as shown. This would make a
