Tektronix 317 Oscilloscope Serial number 4020 This is a very sweet oscilloscope. A little large than the 310, but with fan cooling and a very bright trace. These were designed to be used in bright environments , like by telephone repair crews and others who worked out of doors. For this reason, it has a 9KV accelerating potential. And it is a very portable package. Dimensions 12 3/8" x 8 1/2" x 18 11/16". Weight 33 pounds. This unit has a special paint job, one which I felt captures the spirit of these little puppies, in spite of spending years in someones basement or under the workbench in the garage. Fully restored, this little guy proudly flounts its heritage, telling everyone "I can still do it in spite of all that I've been through."
